THIS. TOOK. AGES.
The top two braids are 3-strand English braids pulled back.
The bottom is four, 4-strand braids, then braided together in a bigger 4-strand braid.

If anybody needs or wants a tutorial or something, let me know.

HEADKANDY BUNNY BLONDE.

Wednesday, 28 March 2012

So I have been a long-time fan of HeadKandy's extensions after they were recommended to me by an old school friend. Each set I've bought from them has lasted longer than I've been able to use them as I've changed my hair colour so many times. I had recently (a few months back) tried out FoxyLocks hair extensions, but it turns out that their blonde ones are not very good at all and certainly didn't last after I put a semi-permanent dye on them. They went frizzy, fuzzy and matted. I wouldn't have had to dye them if anywhere stocked anything lighter than the usual 613 Bleach Blonde--while most people think that's the lightest you can go, it's not. HeadKandy do a colour called BUNNY BLONDE, which, for lack of another word, is absolutely perfect.

Though, given, my hair isn't actually that blonde right now, it's more a 613, it will be that blonde. So. Here are the extensions.

They give you a little separate package, too, with one piece of hair in it that you can open and look at to compare the colour if you need to, if you open this you can still return them, but once you open the whole packet there's no returns!

These are the old and the new ones compared, so you can see how well the old ones have held up after all this time.

Brown - Bunny blonde - and 613/mix with a light brown, colour difference

These are foxylocks compared. The foxylocks were dyed once only.

the dye I'ma use

And a little instruction manual.

I'm currently re-dying my hair so that it matches the colour I bought (which, thankfully, was my original plan).

And this is it all done!
